Lose Weight During Winter

How do you lose weight during winter when there is three foot of snow on the ground and the temperatures are in the minus 20+?

A couple of things, continue with your changed eating habits, eating less and eating more healthy and less fast food meals. You still need to burn more calories than you consume. So good eating will lower your consumption of calories. Christmas is always a difficult time to be trying to lose weight with all of the Christmas deserts etc etc.

The exercise path to losing weight needs to change over the winter months. Walking in the park is not always practical with the amount of snow that can fall. There is a need for more exercise/walking in the home. Again it is not that difficult to achieve significant calorie fires where you burn those calories off.

Most house/appartments have stairs. Walk up and down the stairs more often than you would normally. Walk up and down twice every time you have to go up or down the stairs. Stair walking is excellent for cardio vascular exercise. You are still walking so it is not too stressful on the body, nor are you trying to climb the stairs in the Empire State Building. If you can do that then go for it but if you can do that there is a very good chance that you do not need to lose weight.

There is always the old favorite calisthenics, though today you can buy DVDs or videos of different exercises you can follow along with in front of the screen. You may have to rearrange the furniture to be able to lie down on the floor. But hey that is exercise in itself, more calories burnt.

Exercise machines can be bought and used inside during the winter. You can build a decent sweat if you walk on a treadmill for 30 minutes or jump on an exercise bike for 30 minutes as well. There are other exercise machines that you can purchase as well like the bow flex.You cqan always put the machine in front of the TV so you can still watch your favorite show, exercise and reap the benefits of exercise. Life can be good!

Also when you are cooking your meals you can stand and do a few stretching exercises as you wait. Use what ever time you can find to do a few little exercises. The combined effect will be to burn more calories and lose weight.

So really no one has any excuse to say that they cannot lose weight in the winter months. Excuses are always made by people with little real motivation so they do not really want to or believe that they can lose weight.

Many of our oldsters (mature citizens) will grasp what I'm going to
tell you. Many AARP members and elderly are very concerned about
their investments and rightly so. With a little research you will also
understand what is going on within our very own government. Right now
it seems that it's being torn apart at the seams. I would like to
tear a few of them apart myself, with gusto.

It would be interesting to see the statistics of the top 10% value/
volume of the stock market changes in buying and selling. Take the
high dollar value and analyze who is doing what. I don't know where
the break is but you can count on it that the high value/volume
contains the secrets. Trace each sale and purchase to its origin/
destination and see if the stock market is being manipulated. You can
bet your bottom dollar that it is. It may be known only by the very
top very few. Accumulate each stock and analyze each stock first in
total. Then break each selected stock into who is who at origin and
who is who at its destination. With today's computers it would be a
snap to be able to do this. You can bet the transactions are tied to
source/who and destination/who. For my money it is the banks that
have this large volume of money to work with or the billionaire tycoons to
play this shell game. More than likely the banks; such as the Federal
Reserve and the Bank Of England. It wouldn't surprise me at all to
find that it's an in house game originating with one person or group
working out of one or two accounts transferring fictitious
transactions. Since the money is created out of thin air it really
has no value in a game like this except to extort money from the
unsuspecting. They are playing a you loose they win game, no matter
what.


You and I don't have the clout to be able to accomplish an analysis
of this nature but you can bet your life someone does; and it's probably
not a friend. I'm an old systems analyst dog and know that there are
many stories in statistics, and they can be very revealing. We need
Congress to establish a Bank Of America and be totally independent of
the world banks and controlled by congress/we the people in
accordance to our constitution. Then this Bank Of America could issue debt free
money and have our debts paid for in less than two years. Only 3
times in history have we had debt free money and that was in Colonial
times, then the Lincoln Green Back following the Civil War, and John F.
Kennedys issue of debt free silver backed money. Look up his
presidential order # 11110 on your search engine, it's very
revealing.

Get ready for the shock of your life. Is it possible that the banks
were responsible for these two assignations? Or was it just
coincidence?


This approaches another subject that is quite interesting and that is
the method that we use to elect our senators. Our early founders
elected to have it set up to have the congress of the states appoint
and elect their senators. The senators then appointed and elected the
president. Boy would this clear the dust. It's time to think about
it.

This would put the control back to the people and they would control
their representative or throw him/her out. The clean up would be
where it belongs, at the grass roots. This is where the oversight comitties
would be most effective.


While we are at it, the 14th amendment to the constitution needs
revisiting. Believe it or not, it was never ratified and a very in
depth study is needed of the history to understand what kind of wool
was pulled over the eyes of the people right during the turmoil in
our country immediately following the Civil War. It's really a can of
worms, but it needs correcting. The lawyers and their double tongued
legalese language try to lie their way around it. We need to kick
that kind of crap out of our government. Return our elected
representatives to the common man with common sense which is a very rare commodity
today among our elected representatives. We would then have laws
passed in the common language which everybody but lawyers could
understand. We would be better off throwing Blacks Law Dictionary
away. They (the lawyers) use it to hide what they are writing up in
laws as coded in that book. It is the source of very deceptively
written laws.


Get rid of the Federal Reserve Bank, the Federal Reserve Act, create
our own Bank Of America and issue our own debt free money, then show
the world how it's done. We have that spirit in our genes and it's
time to use it and break free of that cursed Federal Reserve Bank and
all the would be leaders (the NWO gang) that are trying to lead us to
our destruction. Consider the corrupt United Nations, they are not
represenative elected people.

AARP has different health and insurance plans for AARP members 50 to 64, those aged 65 plus and other plans for all ages.

To determine which AARP health insurance plan is right for you is not as simple as 1, 2, 3 choose. AARP does not provide the service or plans. Instead AARP contracts with insurers to make coverage available to AARP members. That means AARP receives a fee for referring its members to the various insurance companies that provide the health service plans to the ARRP memebers. The fees go into general revenue for AARP to provide other services to its members.

The plans may differ between different states, there are a myriad of different regulations between states. In some states, plans may be available to persons eligible for Medicare by reason of disability. All plans may not be available in all states/areas. As an individual you have to check out your own eligibility for the different health insurance plans provided by AARP's insurer.

AARP Essential Health Insurance is one of the plans for AARP members 50 to 64.

These basic fixed-cash hospital indemnity plans offer some coverage with a significantly lower premium.

Note the plan offers some coverage, not all coverage. That is the key, although you can have AARP health insurance you are not covered for every expense.

What do you do? You have to pay the difference. If you are retired living on a fixed income it can be difficult. Even if you are still working it can be difficult. So you need more money stashed away for such emergencies or you need another source of income.

network marketing and it's rate of failure which hovers at about 95 to
97 %. That means that you are going to succeed only 3 to 5 times out

With the current financial ripples, waves or tsunami effect on the share markets of the world many of the funds that AARP members have put their retirement monies into have lost value. These lost values will be most felt by AARP members who are/were planning to retire in the next 24 months. If you Google individual companies you will discover information which may well tell you whether then company will survive.

The income that these AARP were expecting to receive will not happen. Why? Sadly because Wall Street greed, mismanagement and maybe in some cases fraudulent behaviour has led to the collapse of the financial structure of America. I have just looked at the AARP Financial web site. There is a chart that shows what you can achieve taking advantage of the Individual Retirement Account (IRA). Assuming you are over 50 you can contribute certain maximum amounts with an additional $1000 catch up amount.

The chart shows that after 20 years your assets will be $237,154 with out the additional $1000 catch up amount. With the $1000 catch up payment your assets will be $276,147.

There are some assumptions. Investments are made on Jan 1 each year and return 6% annual return, plus no tax effect on either contributions or withdrawals. To arrive at these figures the individual AARP member at age 50 would have to contribute $4000 in 2006/2007 and $5000 in 2008 and each year thereafter. Those who take advantage of the catch up contributions would pay in 2006/2007 $5000, and $6000 in 2008 and beyond. After 2008 there is a 3% upward adjustment rounded to $500.

So what is the total cost to get the $237,154 and $276,147 amounts respectively ignoring the 3% upward adjustment, $98,000 and $118,000. That does not look too bad a 242% and a 234% increase respectively for no catch up payment and with the catch up payment.

Remember if you are an AARP member you have no control basically over how the money is invested.

Now I am going to show all AARP members what could happen if you decide to invest in a home business that has been around for 9 years and is run by an honest individual who has turned the home business upside down with his business model.

If you were to invest $1000 on Jan 1 (we will use the exact same time frame as above. After 20 years you would have $1,370,411. That is assuming you reinvested all profits back into the business.
