Eat and lose weight.

While there may be fads and trick diets that offer quick ways to lose weight that may be the wrong way to look at the problem. There are foods that we can eat that help us lose weight. These foods also give our bodies the resources it needs as in fibre, vitamins and minerals.

Starvation diets do not work and can actually harm your body. You may lose weight initially but you will gain back the lost weight. You did not gain all the extra weight in a few days, it often took years before you even noticed that you had got fat and over weight. So to lose weight it is best to do it gradually.

Some foods are better for you than other food groups.

Fruits and vegetables are low in calories and our bodies are able to use the natural sugars and nutrients in more efficient ways than other junk food alternatives.

Fibre helps cleanse your system as well as helping to keep the weight off.

Protein foods boost your metabolism which makes you feel energized. More energy allows you to be more active which burns more calories.

Green tea helps to stimulate the body to burn calories and work away at body fat. Green tea also is great for your immune system which helps keep the body balanced.

Drinking enough water every day helps the body be in balance. A balanced body tends to facilitate weight equilibrium.

The more active you are the less food you tend to eat because your body feels balanced. The more balnced your body is the less liklihood you will have to lose weight.
